Built to Race — 2026 Program Registered with World Sailing

Mar 30, 2026

There’s a certain moment in development where everything clicks. Months of testing, small adjustments, long days on the water, feedback loops with riders — it all lines up. That’s where we are right now.

We’ve officially completed the registration of our 2026 race program with World Sailing for Formula Wing, and more than anything, it marks a point where the work behind the scenes meets the reality of racing.

At the center of the lineup are the 107 and 108 masts. The 107 has already proven itself as a race-winning platform — efficient, stable, and built to perform when it matters. The 108 takes that foundation and pushes it further. It’s a mast built with intent, designed to unlock more speed and control at the highest level. Seeing Sean Herbert step onto the 108 and deliver a standout performance at the New Zealand Nationals in its very first outing was one of those moments that confirms you’re on the right path.

Alongside the masts, we’ve introduced an entirely new foil platform with the Wahoo TE monoblock series — 424, 502, 540, and 575. These foils are a clean-sheet design. Higher aspect, faster through the water, and built with a new construction approach that matches the loads and stiffness demands of modern racing. They’re designed to carry speed effortlessly, but also to stay composed when you start pushing angles and power.

For riders looking to go all-in, the 424, 502, and 575 are paired with vertical stabilizers across the 135, 150, and 170 rear wing options. The goal is simple — more yaw stability, more control at speed, and the confidence to keep pushing when the course demands it.

The platform comes together with the latest evolution of the R board. It’s a board that has already built its reputation on the race course, and this next version refines it further. The shape and rails have been tuned for easier pumping and faster release, getting you up and flying with less effort. On the water, it carries speed cleanly, and the updated deck brings more leverage, more stiffness, and more direct feedback to the rider. It’s available in 75, 77, 90, and 92 liters — dialed options for different conditions and styles.

Completing the package is the new Makani CR, our full double surface race wing. This project was built from the ground up with our riders and design team, with every detail pushed forward. From the way the wing holds pressure and manages camber and twist, to sizing and control, to the leading edge and strut design — nothing was left untouched. The evolution of the F4 Twist Lock system and the introduction of a new ultra-light, ultra-stiff boom — built using the same thinking as our race foils — brings a level of connection that you feel immediately. The response is direct, consistent, and familiar, whether it’s in your hands or under your feet.

What ties all of this together is not just performance, but intent.

We’ve built one of the most competitive race packages out there, but just as importantly, we’ve taken a hard look at how this sport evolves. Racing has always driven innovation, but too often that innovation stays out of reach. Our approach is different. Through a direct model, we’re able to bring this level of design, construction, and performance to riders without the barrier that usually comes with it.

Our pedigree is in racing. Our focus has always been the rider experience. Our goal has always been to build the most advanced gear we possibly can. Now, we’re putting the same energy into making that gear more accessible — not just for a few, but for racers everywhere.

The 2026 season is shaping up, and we’re coming into it with momentum, clarity, and a lot of stoke.

We’ll see you on the start line.
