1. Warranty Coverage

F4 Foils, Inc. (“the Company”) is dedicated to delivering high-quality hydrofoils and ensuring customer satisfaction. We provide the following warranty policy to cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions.

1.1 Limited Warranty

The Company offers a limited warranty on F4 Foils, Inc. hydrofoils (“the Product”) for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty covers defects related to materials or workmanship. If the original Proof of Purchase cannot be provided on a warranty return, F4 Foils, Inc. will use the manufacturing date as the start of the warranty period. Products falling within the warranty coverage will undergo repair or replacement if, following an examination conducted at an authorized F4 Foils Service Center by a qualified F4 Foils Warranty Service Technician, any defects in materials or craftsmanship are identified. Should an identical product replacement (matching model, size, and/or color) become unavailable, we will substitute your item with one of equivalent performance, size, and worth. This policy also extends to replacement components.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

2.1 Modifications

Any modifications or alterations made to the Product after purchase. The warranty is valid only for the original, unaltered Product. Any modifications of the product from its original state void the warranty.  

2.2 Fasteners

Fasteners (e.g., screws, bolts, nuts, and washers) used to assemble the Product or attach the Product to other equipment or surfaces. These components are considered consumable and are not covered by this warranty. Any damage or loss as a result of fasteners related failure is not covered by this warranty.

2.3 Impacts

Damage caused by impacts, collisions, or accidents, whether intentional or accidental.

2.4 Aggressive Usage

Damage resulting from aggressive, abusive, or excessive usage, including but not limited to use in extreme conditions or stunts beyond the product’s intended design and use.

2.5 Storage and Handling

Damage resulting from improper storage, handling, or transportation.

2.6 Wear and Tear

Normal wear and tear.

3. Warranty Claims Process

3.1 Submission

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must submit a request through the Company’s official website at www.f4foils.com. The warranty claim should include:

  • Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation or receipt).
  • A detailed description of the defect or issue.
  • Contact information (name, address, email, and phone number).
  • Serial numbers
  • Detailed pictures 
  • Any other information requested through the online support system 

3.2 RMA Number

Upon receiving a warranty claim, the Company will evaluate the request and, if it qualifies for warranty coverage, issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This RMA number must be clearly marked on the parcel containing the Product when returning it for warranty service. Any package without a valid RMA number will be rejected.

3.3 Customer Responsibility

The cost of shipping the Product to AND from the Company for warranty service is the responsibility of the customer. The Company will cover the cost of returning the repaired or replacement Product to the customer.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Company’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the Product as described in Section 3. The Company shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss or damage of equipment, loss of time, or any other economic loss. Furthermore, the Company shall not be liable for any injuries or loss of life resulting from the practice of water sports involving the use of the Product. Engaging in water sports and foil-related activities inherently carries risks, and individuals should exercise caution and responsibility while participating in such activities. It is the responsibility of the user to adhere to safety guidelines and take appropriate measures to prevent injury or loss of life while using the Product.

5. Warranty Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the Product.

6. Governing Law

This warranty policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of The State of Delaware.

7. Changes to Warranty Policy

The Company reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other appropriate channels.

8. Used, Demo and Prototype Gear

All Used, Demo and prototype gear DOES NOT come with any warranty expressed or implied.
