F4 108 Hybrid Tuttle Race Mast - The New Zealand National Champion

The F4 108 Hybrid Tuttle Race Mast represents the pinnacle of race mast development at F4. Designed without compromise, it sits at the very top of our performance range — built for riders who demand absolute precision, stability, and speed at the highest levels of wingfoil racing.

The development of the 108 mast is the result of over two years of engineering and testing, combining advanced materials, hydrodynamic research, and countless hours on the water with our race team. Throughout the design process we focused on one objective: reducing drag while maintaining uncompromising stiffness.

Achieving this balance required a complete rethink of mast construction. The 108 features a hybrid structural design, allowing us to create one of the smallest and most efficient mast profiles we have ever produced, while still delivering the rigidity needed for top-level racing.

Extensive analysis and testing were carried out to refine the planform, thickness distribution, and chord profile in order to minimize drag and maximize stability at speed. The result is a mast that feels incredibly solid underfoot while slicing cleanly through the water with minimal resistance. It is designed specifically for the F4 Monoblock race foils.

When race speeds climb and conditions become demanding, the 108 remains exceptionally composed, translating rider input directly into forward drive and allowing riders to push harder through gusts, angles, and course transitions.

The F4 108 Hybrid Tuttle Race Mast is officially registered with World Sailing, making it compliant with the equipment requirements for international wingfoil racing competitions.

The F4 108 Hybrid Tuttle Race Mast is the culmination of years of development in high-performance foiling and represents the highest level of engineering in the F4 mast lineup.

Post-Use Care

Rinse Thoroughly: After each session, rinse your windfoil or wingfoil with fresh water to remove salt and debris, preventing damage to sensitive components.
Inspect all parts: Regularly inspect your foil for cracks, chips, or loose parts, especially on carbon elements, to maintain optimal performance.

Safe Storage & Protection

Store Properly: Keep your foil in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to protect the materials from UV damage.
Keep in Covers: Covers should protect your foil from dust, scratches, and impacts during transport and storage.
Never Store your foil wet!

Maintenance for Performance

Lubricate Moving Parts: Apply lubricant to aluminum components and Tef-gel to fasteners to prevent corrosion and ensure smooth operation.
Handle with Care: Avoid over-tightening bolts when assembling or disassembling your foil to prevent stress on components, ensuring longevity and preventing potential damage.
