The Sylo is the result of a long development process with the F4 team, built around one simple idea - make a downwind board that works with the foil, not against it.

Every part of the Sylo has been designed specifically for the F4 foil system. The weight, rocker, outline, deck, bottom shape and aerodynamics were developed together to create a board that feels light, agile and predictable when it matters most.

The result is a board that gets out of the way and lets the foil do its job.

Built around the foil

Downwind boards have become incredibly refined, and small details make a big difference.

With the Sylo, we focused on the transition between board and foil. The rocker is tuned to give you the right release and angle for takeoff, while keeping the board efficient once you're flying. The aerodynamic shape reduces unnecessary drag, and the compact, agile platform makes it easier to move the board around beneath you.

It is not about adding features. It is about removing everything that doesn't need to be there.

Light. Agile. Responsive. 

The F4 Sylo is built to feel almost weightless beneath your feet.

Its low weight makes pumping more efficient and helps the board respond immediately to rider input. The compact shape keeps the board agile through touchdowns, corrections and transitions, while the carefully tuned rocker helps you get back onto foil with less effort.

Once you're flying, the board simply disappears, and that's exactly what we wanted.

The F4 System

The Sylo was designed from the beginning around the F4 foil portfolio.

That means the board and foil are engineered to work together—from the geometry of the board and mast connection to the rocker and overall aerodynamic profile.

Pair it with any F4 foil and mast and the whole system becomes remarkably efficient. The board gets you onto foil, then gets out of the way.

Sylo wasn't created in a design studio and handed to a rider.

It has been developed over a long period with the F4 team, tested, changed, simplified and tested again in real downwind conditions.

The goal was to make the board that feels right.

The final Sylo is the result of that process: light, agile, efficient and completely focused on downwind foiling.
