The Formula Wing European Championships in Naples opened the season with high-intensity racing and closely contested competition throughout the fleet, with no final day racing due to conditions.
Sean Herbert finished 5th overall, securing a strong start to his international season in a highly competitive field. Notably, last year’s World Champions placed 10th and 13th, underlining the depth and small margins within the fleet in Naples.
Despite the challenging conditions across the event, Sean delivered a consistent and controlled performance from start to finish.
Sean raced on a completely new foil and wing configuration, introduced at his first international event of the season.
