Why this new series matters
Over the past seasons, our team has tested the limits of ultra-slim masts under race and downwind conditions. The 75 TE Downwind mast has already earned a reputation for razor-sharp responsiveness, minimal drag, and direct feedback in the hands of our riders and customers. Now, under a new name the AX Series, we’re making that high-performance platform available across three lengths — so riders can choose the perfect fit for their geography, conditions, and discipline, while still benefiting from the same advanced construction philosophy.
What’s new in the AX lineup
Three lengths — same DNA

Each mast shares the F4 Team Edition (TE) layup technology and materials used in our race fleet, ensuring the highest possible stiffness-to-weight ratio, a slender cross-section, and consistent flex / torsion control across the range.
Ultra-thin cross-section, drag-optimized geometry
We’ve aggressively slimmed down the chord and thickness profiles to minimize drag in turbulent flow, while maintaining precision and structural integrity even under high load. The expansion from the 75 TE Downwind to the new AX name and the additional 85 and 95 cm versions retains that same “skinny mast” philosophy, extended into more usable lengths for a wider range of conditions.
Connection system & structural integrity
The AX series retains our refined tab-and-flange interface with just three M6 fasteners — a design already proven in the GP TE mast series for robust stiffness and minimal drag. The interface is maniacally performance focused and optimized for water flow, so you get a clean aerodynamic/hydrodynamic footprint through the mast-fuselage junction.

Riders already pushing the 75 TE in race and downwind settings have noted the mast’s precision in turn initiation, immediate feel through chop, and a responsiveness that’s unmatched in conventional carbon masts.
